The Vent-Axia 438222 Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic B Right Hand MVHR Unit is an energy-efficient Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system designed to provide continuous whole-house ventilation in modern residential properties. Ideal for new-build homes, this compact unit helps maintain indoor air quality by extracting stale, moisture-laden air while supplying fresh, filtered air and recovering heat from the outgoing airflow.

Flexible Installation Options

The Sentinel Kinetic B is designed to accommodate different installation requirements. The unit can be installed vertically in a kitchen cupboard, hallway cupboard or suitable roof space. Horizontal, vertical or combined duct connections provide flexibility when working in confined areas.

The right-hand configuration is supplied with external duct spigots positioned on the right-hand side. Where required, the arrangement can be reversed on site by removing the control panel, rotating the unit through 180 degrees and refitting the panel.

The condensate drain can be routed through the rear, side or bottom of the unit, allowing the final connection to be completed after positioning. When installed in an unheated area, both the MVHR unit and associated ductwork should be appropriately insulated.

Ventilation Control & Commissioning

The integrated digital controller simplifies system setup and commissioning. Compatible external control options, including humidistats, light switch inputs and BMS connectivity, allow ventilation operation to be adapted to the requirements of the property.

Optional Acoustic Solutions

For installations where noise reduction is particularly important, compatible acoustic accessories are available. An optional acoustic enclosure helps reduce noise radiating from the unit, while the acoustic top box is designed to reduce in-duct noise at key frequencies.
