Intelligent Air Quality and VOC Detection

The Vent-Axia PureAir Cleanse HT-IAQ incorporates an intelligent air quality sensor that monitors total volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can be released by cleaning products, household chemicals and other indoor sources.

When elevated pollutant levels or unpleasant odours are detected, the fan automatically activates a proportional boost function to increase extraction and remove unwanted airborne contaminants more quickly. This responsive ventilation technology helps maintain a fresher, healthier indoor environment while avoiding unnecessary high-speed operation.

Automatic Humidity Control

The integrated humidistat continuously monitors relative humidity and adjusts extraction performance when moisture levels increase. Rather than immediately switching to maximum speed, the proportional control system gradually increases airflow as humidity rises.

The control logic allows proportional speed increases up to 85% relative humidity (RH) before activating boost mode. This intelligent approach helps manage bathroom moisture, reduce condensation and minimise unnecessary noise.

If the bathroom light is switched on and off within three minutes, boost activation is prevented. This feature is particularly beneficial during night-time bathroom use, reducing disturbance to other household members.
