The Schneider Electric SEL8F460 is a three-phase plus neutral (3P+N) surge protective device designed for installation within Acti9 KQ II load centres. Offering Type 2+3 protection, this device safeguards industrial, commercial and tertiary electrical installations against direct and indirect transient overvoltages.

Featuring an integrated surge-adapted backup fuse, the SEL8F460 operates without remote signalling but includes clear front-facing visual indicators. A green flag confirms normal operation, while a red indicator signals when cartridge replacement is required, ensuring simple inspection and ongoing compliance.

The plug-on design allows fast installation within KQ II three-phase load centres, enabling easy integration alongside MCBs and RCBOs while minimising installation time.
