Replacement Mandrex HSS M2 short Pilot Drill Bit 105mm with 135 degrees split point for smooth drilling and accurate centering.
Compatible for use with all Bi-Metal hole saws, not suitable for Mandrex TCT multi purpose hole saws as they are too short.

Why use Mandrex Pilot drills?
Many hole saw pilot drill bits have an angled chamfered flat for the grub screw to tighten on to. We think the Mandrex are much better as these are manufactured with a flat edged slot.
Given that the angled flat face or chamfered edge on many standard pilot drills causes a problem for the pilot drill to often fall out of the arbor, our users are finding the benefit of the milled slot that even if the grub screw is slightly loose, the pilot drill is much less likely to fall out or even spin whilst drilling.
