The Milwaukee M18HCC45-522C 18V FORCE LOGIC™ Hydraulic Cable Cutter is a powerful professional cordless cutting tool engineered for ACSR and ACSS transmission line cables. Powered by a 77.8kN hydraulic pump, it cuts compatible ACSR and ACSS cables up to 44mm diameter in less than 9 seconds, providing fast and efficient performance for demanding electrical and utility applications.
A specially designed jaw can be opened using just two fingers, helping improve cable alignment while allowing convenient operation when wearing Class 3 gloves. Once positioned, the cable automatically closes the jaw to provide hands-free jaw closure, making mid-span cutting easier and more controlled.
The 340° rotating head provides excellent positioning flexibility, particularly when working around installed cables or in restricted locations. Combined with the balanced tool design, this gives professional users greater control throughout demanding cable-cutting applications.
