The Hyco SF10L1SS Speedflow 10L Unvented Water Heater is a compact, energy-efficient hot water solution designed to deliver mains pressure hot water to multiple outlets. Featuring a 10-litre stainless steel tank and 1.2kW heating element, this lower-load model is ideal for installations where electrical capacity is restricted while still providing a dependable supply of stored hot water.
Ideal for kitchens and cloakrooms in offices, shops, student accommodation, domestic extensions and similar applications, a single Speedflow Stainless unit can supply hot water to up to three basins. Its compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for discreet installation inside an under-sink kitchen cupboard where space is limited.
With an ErP A energy efficiency rating, external temperature adjustment and a frost protection setting, the SF10L1SS provides practical control and efficient everyday operation. The durable stainless steel water tank offers long-lasting performance, while mains pressure operation allows the heater to be used with standard taps, including mixer taps.

Safety & Protection
- Manual-reset overheat temperature protection
- Supplied pressure relief valve set at 6 bar must be fitted in every installation
- Frost protection provided when the heater remains powered
- Optional thermostatic mixing valve can be used to maintain a constant and safe hot water temperature at the outlet
Installation Requirements
- Must be installed by a suitably qualified person
- Can be installed above or below the sink, but the inlet and outlet connections must remain at the top
- Flexible hoses are recommended for connection to facilitate future maintenance
- The thermal cut-out is located behind the front panel of the unit
- Requires 2 x 15mm compression to 1/2" BSP female adaptors – not supplied
- Electrical installation must comply with current IET regulations
- The heater should be connected to the property's fixed wiring through a suitably rated isolating switch with at least 3mm contact separation in all poles
Water Regulations & Accessories
Additional accessories may be required to comply with Water Regulations. A pressure reducing valve is required where the incoming water pressure exceeds 4.2 bar. An expansion vessel and check valve are required where there is a nearby cold water draw-off. Suitable Speedflow accessory kits are available separately.

Maintenance Note
The replaceable grey magnesium anode should be inspected at least annually and more frequently in areas with scale-forming or aggressive water conditions.
