The Hyco PF50LS Powerflow Smart 50L Unvented Multipoint Water Heater is an energy-efficient hot water solution designed to deliver reliable mains pressure hot water to multiple outlets. Featuring a 50-litre capacity and powerful 3.0kW heating element, it is ideal for handwashing, washing-up and other everyday hot water requirements.

Suitable for kitchens, schools, restaurants, washrooms, healthcare environments, offices and a wide range of commercial, light industrial and light domestic applications, the PF50LS combines intelligent controls with a practical slimline, wall-mounted design.

Smart technology helps improve energy efficiency, while Hyco's patented design reduces the immediate mixing of incoming cold water with the stored hot water, helping to maximise the amount of usable hot water available. The heater offers Standard, Smart and Eco operating modes, with Eco mode operating at 50°C for efficient everyday use.

For enhanced stored water hygiene, the PF50LS incorporates an anti-legionella mode. When enabled, the heater automatically raises the internal water temperature to 65°C and maintains this temperature for one hour every two weeks.

Unvented Accessory Kit

The supplied unvented accessory kit must be fitted during installation. For the PF50LS, the kit includes a 5-litre expansion vessel with fixing bracket, inlet group manifold incorporating a pressure relief valve, pressure reducing valve, check valve and balanced off-take, flexible hose and two tundishes.

Installation Requirements

• Must be installed by a suitably qualified person
• Must be wall mounted vertically with the inlet and outlet connections at the base
• Allow at least 500mm clearance below and 200mm above the heater for future maintenance
• Access to the thermal cut-out and heating element is located at the base of the unit
• Requires 2 x 15mm compression to 1/2" BSP female adaptors – not supplied
• Electrical installation must comply with current IET regulations
• The heater should be connected to the property's fixed wiring through a suitably rated isolating switch with at least 3mm contact separation in all poles

• 2-year parts or replacement warranty on electrical components

Maintenance Note

The replaceable grey magnesium anode should be inspected at least annually and more frequently in areas with scale-forming or aggressive water conditions.
