The Hyco PF30LS Powerflow Smart 30L Unvented Multipoint Water Heater is an energy-efficient hot water solution designed to supply reliable mains pressure hot water to multiple outlets. With a powerful 3.0kW heating element, intelligent operating modes and a 30-litre capacity, it is ideal for handwashing, washing-up and other everyday hot water requirements.

Suitable for kitchens, washrooms, schools, restaurants, healthcare environments, offices and other commercial or light domestic applications, the PF30LS combines smart energy management with a practical slimline, wall-mounted design.

Its patented technology helps prevent incoming cold water from immediately mixing with the stored hot water, increasing the amount of usable hot water available. Three operating modes – Standard, Smart and Eco – allow the heater to adapt to different usage requirements, while Eco mode operates at 50°C to help reduce unnecessary energy consumption.

For improved water hygiene, the PF30LS includes an anti-legionella mode. When enabled, the heater automatically raises the internal water temperature to 65°C and maintains it for one hour every two weeks.

Unvented Accessory Kit

The supplied unvented accessory kit must be fitted during installation. For the PF30LS, the kit includes a 5-litre expansion vessel with fixing bracket, inlet group manifold incorporating a pressure relief valve, pressure reducing valve, check valve and balanced off-take, flexible hose and two tundishes.

Installation Requirements

• Must be installed by a suitably qualified person
• Must be wall mounted vertically with water connections at the base
• Allow at least 500mm clearance below and 200mm above the heater for future maintenance
• Access to the thermal cut-out and heating element is located at the base of the unit
• Requires 2 x 15mm compression to 1/2" BSP female adaptors – not supplied
• Electrical installation must comply with current IET regulations
• Connect to the property's fixed wiring via a suitably rated isolating switch with at least 3mm contact separation in all poles

• 2-year parts or replacement warranty on electrical components

Maintenance Note

The replaceable grey magnesium anode should be inspected at least annually and more frequently in areas with scale-forming or aggressive water conditions.
