The Crabtree 17VMTPNLA Powerstar Type 1 Surge Arrester Kit provides advanced surge protection for Powerstar VM160 panel boards. The kit includes a Type 1 surge protection device (SPD) along with a Crabtree 7PBV MCCB for SPD protection, ensuring safe operation and compliance with modern electrical protection standards. It also includes a cable loom kit and a dedicated SPD mounting bracket for straightforward installation.

Designed to integrate neatly within the Powerstar VM160 system, the SPD fits into the dedicated knock-out slot in the panel board, while the MCCB utilises the bottom right-hand way for connection. The kit is fully 18th Edition compliant and suitable for installations operating at a nominal voltage of 240/415V AC.
