The BG Fortress CFO5HP2G is a pre-populated 5 module, 2 way heat pump consumer unit specifically designed for modern heat pump installations. Supplied ready for installation, the unit combines a 63A 30mA Type B+HP RCD, Type 2 surge protection device (SPD) and 20A C Curve MCB within a robust anthracite grey IP65 enclosure.

Engineered for the electrical characteristics associated with inverter-driven heat pump systems, the Type B+HP RCD provides detection for AC, DC, pulsed DC and high-frequency currents generated by BLDC motors. Integrated surge handling accommodates initial inverter start-up currents, helping to reduce unwanted nuisance tripping while providing dependable protection.

The fire-rated, all-metal enclosure provides IP65 protection against dust and water, making the CFO5HP2G suitable for both internal and external heat pump installations. Designed for installations in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations, the unit is supplied pre-populated with the essential components required for a straightforward and professional installation.
