The Schneider Electric Acti9 iPRD F40r (A9L8F451) is a high-performance surge protective device designed to safeguard electrical installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. It protects against both direct and indirect transient overvoltages, helping to maintain continuity of service and reduce the risk of equipment damage.

This 1P+N Type 2+3 surge arrester features an integrated, surge-adapted backup fuse and pluggable cartridges for quick replacement when damaged. Visual local status indication is provided via a front-facing flag (green for operational, red for replacement required), alongside remote signalling for monitoring system status.

Compatible with TT, TN-S and TN-C-S earthing systems, the device operates at 230/240V AC and delivers robust protection with fast response times. Its compact, plug-on design ensures straightforward installation within Acti9 distribution systems.
