The EnviroVent MEV300 Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) Unit is a powerful and energy-efficient solution designed to provide continuous ventilation and improve indoor air quality throughout residential and communal properties. Featuring Intellitrac® humidity tracking and a wired boost switch, the system automatically adjusts airflow levels to control condensation and maintain a healthy indoor environment.

With airflow rates of up to 103l/s (370 m³/hr), the MEV300 is capable of extracting moisture-laden air from multiple wet rooms simultaneously. This helps prevent humidity from spreading throughout the property while maintaining effective ventilation in houses, apartments and communal accommodation such as care homes or student residences. The system can support ventilation requirements for a kitchen plus up to six additional wet rooms.

Compact & Installer-Friendly Design

The MEV300 has been designed for simple and flexible installation. Its slim 160mm profile and lightweight construction allow it to be installed in areas where space is limited. The unit can be mounted horizontally on ceilings or floors, or vertically on walls, making it suitable for a wide range of building layouts.

Six twist, fix and release duct entry points provide flexible duct configurations. The push-button commissioning pad allows installers to quickly and accurately set the required airflow rate during installation.

Fast Track Ducting Compatibility

The MEV300 can also be paired with the EnviroVent Fast Track ducting system, allowing installations to be completed up to twice as quickly compared with traditional screw-and-glue ducting methods. This system provides airtight connections and helps maintain energy efficiency.

Intelligent Humidity Control

With Intellitrac® humidity tracking included as standard, the MEV300 continuously monitors humidity levels and automatically adjusts fan speed to maintain optimal indoor conditions. This intelligent response helps control condensation while minimising energy consumption.

The unit is also compatible with AirSens® indoor air quality sensors, enabling the system to respond automatically to changes in CO? levels, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and humidity. When air quality deteriorates, the extraction rate increases to maintain a healthier indoor environment.

AirSens® Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

Optional AirSens® sensors provide an easy-to-read colour-coded display showing air quality levels:

• Red – Poor air quality
• Amber – Moderate air quality
• Green – Good air quality

AirSens® sensors can monitor:

• Carbon dioxide (CO?)
• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
• Relative humidity

Environmentally Responsible Design

The MEV300 has been designed with sustainability in mind. Manufactured largely from recyclable materials, the unit reduces landfill impact while allowing components to be easily replaced when required.
