The EnviroVent MEV160-W Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) Unit is a compact and energy-efficient solution designed to deliver continuous ventilation and maintain healthy indoor air quality. Featuring Intellitrac® humidity tracking and supplied with a wireless remote control, this high-performance unit automatically responds to changes in humidity to control condensation effectively.

Capable of delivering airflow rates of up to 75l/s (270 m³/hr), the MEV160-W simultaneously extracts moisture-laden air from multiple wet rooms, helping to prevent damp and reduce humidity transfer throughout the property. It is ideal for houses, apartments and communal residential buildings such as care homes and student accommodation, supporting ventilation requirements for a kitchen plus up to six additional wet rooms.

Compact & Installer-Friendly Design

The MEV160-W has been designed with ease of installation in mind. Its slim 160mm profile and lightweight construction make it suitable for installations where space is limited. The unit can be mounted horizontally on ceilings or floors, or vertically on walls, offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of property layouts.

Six twist, fix and release duct entry points allow installers to easily configure duct connections. The push-button commissioning pad enables quick and accurate setting of airflow rates during installation.

Fast Track Ducting Compatibility

The MEV160-W can also connect to the EnviroVent Fast Track ducting system, allowing installations to be completed up to twice as quickly compared with traditional screw-and-glue ducting methods. The system ensures airtight connections while maintaining excellent energy efficiency.

Intelligent Humidity Control

With Intellitrac® humidity tracking included as standard, the MEV160-W continuously monitors humidity levels and automatically adjusts fan speed to maintain optimal indoor conditions. This intelligent system helps prevent condensation while ensuring energy-efficient operation without requiring manual adjustment.

The unit is also compatible with AirSens® indoor air quality sensors, enabling automatic response to changes in CO? levels, VOCs and humidity. When air quality deteriorates, the system increases extraction rates to maintain a healthy indoor environment.

AirSens® Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

Optional AirSens® sensors provide a colour-coded display showing current air quality levels:

• Red – Poor air quality
• Amber – Moderate air quality
• Green – Good air quality

AirSens® sensors can detect:

• Carbon dioxide (CO?)
• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
• Relative humidity
